Purpose:

An electric tap is designed to open/close the water supply under the control of a controller in water supply and heating systems.
Installing an electric tap instead of manual valves is strictly prohibited.

Description:

The electric faucet consists of a brass CW617N faucet and a 12V DC electric actuator. The electric drive contains a button for manual opening/closing of the tap. The operation of the electric drive is controlled using three wires: brown, black and blue. Use the manual switch only when the electric drive is de-energized. Otherwise, you may damage the electric drive mechanism.
The operating principle of a 12V electric drive faucet (the color of the electric drive is blue and black) is as follows. The brown wire is constantly supplied with a “phase” of 12V supply voltage, and the blue wire is constantly supplied with “zero”. When a 12V supply voltage is applied to the black “phase” wire through a suitable device, the tap is moved to the “closed” position; if there is no 12V supply voltage on the black “phase” wire, the tap is moved to the “open” position.
The operation of electric drives can be controlled using controllers, modules, digital thermostats and other devices that will meet the technical characteristics and operating principle.

Installation:

Electrically driven taps are installed on the heating system or at the inlet of water supply pipes after manual valves (ball valves) and after coarse water filters. The quality of water must comply with: in the heating system DBN V.2.5-39:2008, in the water supply system DSanPIN 2.2.4-171-10. The choice of parameters of electric cranes and installation location must be agreed with a qualified specialist. Installation should be carried out in accordance with the rules set out in this passport and in accordance with the requirements of DBN V.2.5-64.2012. Connecting the electric drive to the electrical network and operating it must be carried out in accordance with the “Rules for Electrical Installations”:
1. Before installing the valve, thoroughly clean the pipeline from contamination (welding residues, seals, metal shavings).
2. The position of the crane during installation is any, except when the crane is installed with the electric drive down. It is prohibited to install a faucet with an electric drive instead of manual valves.
3. Connect electrically driven taps to the equipment only in accordance with the diagram that indicates the connection method for the exact name and model of the connected tap. At the same time, strictly observe the color marking of the wires.
4. The electrical functioning of the faucet should be checked before applying water pressure to the system.
5. Precautions:
- do not use in hazardous areas
- when applying the supply voltage, you must ensure that it corresponds to the voltage for which this electric crane is designed.
